About Immanuel

Welcome from the Headteacher

It is an absolute privilege to be Headteacher at Immanuel College and it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website.

My commitment is to ensure that every single student has exceptional opportunities to develop, both academically and socially, so that when the time comes to leave us, they are well-qualified, confident young adults ready to take their place in society.

Immanuel College is a very special place to learn. As a Church of England academy and a member of the Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust(BDAT), our Christian ethos is central to our vision. Our motto ‘All God’s Children’ and the three biblical characteristics of Perseverance, Character and Hope underpin everything that we do and stand for.

We are very proud of the fully inclusive nature of the school, and all students will follow a broad and balanced curriculum, designed to ensure that every individual has the opportunity to reach their true potential. We have a commitment to the highest standards of behaviour and all students are regularly reminded about the basic expectations that underpin the “Immanuel Way”.

Academic success, both at GCSE and post-16, remains a real strength at Immanuel College as you will see from our outcomes, but we are also dedicated to providing an extensive range of extra-curricular activities and enrichment opportunities.

I hope that you are able to find out more about us through the website but please don’t hesitate to contact us if you require any further information.
