Why study Physical Education?
Physical Education teaches students so much more than simply how to play a variety of sports, it develops skills such as leadership, communication, cooperation, independence, respect, fairness and acceptance of responsibility; skills that are needed in order to thrive in modern life.
We believe that all students should leave Immanuel College with a positive attitude towards physical activity and the motivation to lead a healthy and active lifestyle. We want to inspire the next generation of gym-goers, amateur football players, netball payers and cyclists and enable them to understand the benefits of leading such a lifestyle and the effect it can have on a person’s physical, social and mental health.
