SEND
Immanuel College is founded on a Christian ethos with a strong aim of working cohesively in the best interests of our students. This is reflected in our vision:

We aim to ensure that all students, including those with special educational needs, are properly supported so that they can play a full and active role in school life, achieve their academic potential and make a successful transition into adulthood.
Our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) is Mrs A Whittle.
Mrs Whittle is a fully qualified teacher, trained in drama and began teaching at Immanuel College in 2008.
Following a decision to pursue her interest in special educational needs Mrs Whittle became the SENCO in 2018 and completed the National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination (NASC) in March 2020.
At Immanuel we welcome the opportunity to discuss your child’s special educational needs and how, as a school, we can support your child’s learning.
