To acknowledge Holocaust Memorial Day the Chaplaincy team, with the assistance of some Post 16 students, helped us reflect on the event through a live streamed service.
We made this a random acts of kindness day in school and encouraged staff and students to participate by performing random acts of kindness throughout the day.
We do this to remember the victims and survivors of genocide, and to bring people together through kindness as opposed to hatred and prejudice that can cause divisions in our communities today.
Our Y7 prefects went into the local community to spread a little love and kindness and surprised people with bouquets of flowers. It was a lovely gesture that brought people together within our community and a smile to many faces.
