It is an absolute privilege for me to take on the role of Headteacher at Immanuel College and it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to our website. My commitment is to ensure that every single student has exceptional opportunities to develop, both academically and socially, so that when the time comes to leave us, they are well-qualified, confident young adults ready to take their place in society.
Immanuel College is a very special place to learn. As a Church of England school and a member of the Bradford Diocesan Academies Trust (BDAT), our Christian ethos is central to our vision. Our motto ‘All God’s Children’ and the three core characteristics of Perseverance, Character and Hope underpin everything that we do and stand for.
We are very proud of the fully inclusive nature of the school, and all students will follow a broad and balanced curriculum, designed to ensure that each individual has every opportunity to reach their true potential. We have a commitment to the highest standards of behaviour and all students are constantly reminded about the basic expectations that underpin the “Immanuel Way”.
Academic success, both at GCSE and post-16, remains a real strength at Immanuel College but we are also dedicated to providing an incredible range of extra-curricular activities and enrichment opportunities. It is, perhaps, not surprising that at our most recent inspection, Ofsted rated us as a “Good” school and we continue to be oversubscribed.
I hope that you are able to find out more about us through the website but please don’t hesitate to contact us if you require any further information.
Mr S. Mulligan
